UNITEK D1049A USB-C Hub 4K HDMI VGA PD 100W USB-A for Mac Windows MST Triple Display
Expand Your USB-C Laptop with HDMI, VGA, Charging, and USB-A
The UNITEK D1049A uHUB Q4+ LITE is a versatile multi-display adapter that turns a single USB-C port into a powerful workstation hub. Connect an external monitor via HDMI or VGA, charge your laptop at full speed with 100W Power Delivery, and plug in a USB-A peripheral – all simultaneously.
Dual Video Outputs for Legacy and Modern Displays
HDMI port: 4K Ultra HD at 60Hz (requires DisplayPort Alt Mode on the host device). Perfect for high‑resolution monitors and modern TVs.
VGA port: Full HD 1080P at 60Hz – ideal for connecting to older projectors, monitors, or conference room displays.
For Windows users, the hub supports Multi-Stream Transport (MST), allowing you to connect up to three external screens (using both HDMI and VGA ports, plus the laptop's own display). Note: macOS does not support MST; Mac users can use one external display at a time via this hub.
100W Power Delivery Pass-Through
The USB-C Power Delivery port provides up to 100W of charging power to your laptop or tablet (requires a 100W USB-C charger and cable, not included). Charge from 0% to 100% in about 1.5 hours – significantly faster than 60W chargers. The hub passes power through while you work, so your laptop never runs out of battery.
USB-A Data Port
One USB-A port (USB 2.0, 480Mbps) lets you connect a keyboard, mouse, USB flash drive, or other low-speed peripheral. Perfect for conference rooms or desktop setups.
Compact Aluminum Design
The hub features a sleek aluminum housing that dissipates heat effectively and resists daily wear. Its small size fits easily into a laptop bag or pocket.
Plug and Play – No Drivers
Works immediately with most USB-C laptops, tablets, and phones. No software installation required. For video output, ensure your device supports DisplayPort Alt Mode over USB-C (most modern laptops do).
Compatibility Notes
Windows: Full MST support for multiple displays. Connect HDMI and VGA simultaneously for extended or mirrored displays.
macOS: MST not supported. You can use either HDMI or VGA for one external display at a time (mirror or extended).
iPad Pro (USB-C): Supports a single external display via HDMI (or VGA) with iPadOS (resolution limited by iPad).
Android phones: Supports video output if the phone has DP Alt Mode (e.g., Samsung DeX). Single display only.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Can I use both HDMI and VGA at the same time? +
Yes, on Windows you can use both ports simultaneously for extended or mirrored displays (MST). On macOS, only one external display is supported at a time; you cannot use both HDMI and VGA together.
2. Does this hub support 4K at 60Hz via HDMI? +
Yes, when connected to a source device that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and an HDMI 2.0 monitor, you will get 4K resolution at 60Hz. For 4K@30Hz, any HDMI 1.4 monitor works.
3. Can I charge my laptop through this hub while using the other ports? +
Yes. Connect a USB-C PD charger (up to 100W) to the hub's USB-C PD port, then connect the hub to your laptop. The laptop will charge while you use HDMI, VGA, or USB-A.
4. Does this hub work with my MacBook Pro M1/M2/M3? +
Yes. The hub works with Apple Silicon MacBooks, but note that MST is not supported. You can connect one external display via HDMI or VGA (not both at once). For dual external displays on M1/M2, you need a DisplayLink adapter.
